Anxiety

Treatment is focused on the management of anxiety symptoms impacting health, financial, and family problems. Medication management can be utilized to help support improved job performance, schoolwork, and relationships. 

Conditions treated include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and various phobia-related disorders. Encouragement is provided to pursue various types of therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Education and support are provided to patients and their families on managing this condition.

ADHD

Treatment is focused on the management of symptoms interfering with functioning and development evidenced by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Medication management can be utilized to improve the quality of social functioning, school performance, and job performance. Conditions treated include inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity. Various types of therapy, including behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family and marital therapy, parenting skills training, classroom management intervention, and stress management techniques are encouraged. Education and support are provided to patients and their families.

Schizophrenia

Treatment is focused on the management of symptoms to improve day-to-day function and meet life goals, which could include finishing an education, pursuing careers, and developing relationships. Medication can be utilized through shared decision-making to ensure the best type of medication or combination of medications is achieved. Encouragement is provided to pursue various types of therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior skills training, supported employment, and cognitive remediation strategies with a trained professional in the community.

Bipolar Disorder

Treatment is focused on the management of symptoms caused by shifts in mood, energy, levels of activity, and concentration. Medication management can be utilized to balance mood and improve overall quality of life. Conditions treated include Bipolar I, Bipolar II, and cyclothymia. Support is provided long-term to help patients with this condition manage symptoms. Various types of therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, and family-focused therapy may be beneficial to improving symptoms.

Depression

Treatment is focused on the management of symptoms that affect how a person feels, processes, and completes daily activities. Medication management can be utilized to help support a better quality of life. Conditions treated include major depression, persistent depressive disorder, perinatal depression, seasonal affective disorder, and depression with symptoms of psychosis. Encouragement is provided to pursue various types of therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy.

Medication management can be utilized to treat the panic, depressive mood, suicidal thoughts, and substance use associated with PTSD. Encouragement is provided to pursue various types of therapy, including exposure therapy and cognitive restructuring. Education and support are provided to patients and their families on managing this condition.

Sleep Disorders

Treatment is focused on the management of symptoms caused by the inability to function while awake due to inability to fall or remain asleep. Medication management can be utilized to induce quality sleep. Encouragement is provided to pursue therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. Education and support are provided to patients and their families on managing this condition.

Dual Diagnoses

Treatment is focused on the management of substance use disorder and mental health disorders. Medication management can be utilized to support treatment of disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, personality disorder, and schizophrenia, among others associated with substance use. Encouragement is provided to pursue various types of therapy. In the case of adolescents and children, brief strategic management therapy, multidimensional family therapy, and multi-systemic therapy can be utilized to treat dual diagnoses.
