Supportive Therapy aims to focus on helping you work through present and immediate concerns, including relationship issues, family conflicts, or work-related stress. This therapy works to build self-esteem and confidence via active listening, emotional support, and validation.

Mental Health Counseling offers a traditional approach and often dives into a person's past and traumas to understand where they are currently. Counseling aims to support while also attempting to identify and change maladaptive thoughts and behaviors using talk therapy or various other types of therapies including CBT, EMDR, etc.

I began Mind Body Connections, PLLC in August 2023. I was born and raised in Rapid City, SD, and have loved calling the Black Hills my home. I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I am also a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). I have a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from South Dakota State University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from South Dakota State University.  I have worked in mental health for five years and am passionate about teaching and using a preventative and integrative approach to supporting patients and families.
